---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Career Year: Matt Kemp (Dodgers) In case you hadn't heard, Matt Kemp is the first Dodger in franchise history to amass 25+ HRs, 30+ steals and 100+ RBIs. He has increased his Home Runs, RBI, Runs, and Walks in each of his first three seasons. He's also a Lock for at least 30 steals and close to a .300 average. I have watched almost every single one of his games since his rookie year and he is the real deal. Matt Kemp was my sleeper pick two years ago and had a "breakout season". Your going to see Ginormous numbers this season if he stays healthy. I project .300, 30 HR, 101 RBI, 30 Doubles, 6 Triples, 90 Runs, and 38 Steals.

Sleeper: Kyle Blanks (SD) Big guy with lots of Power at 6-6, 285 lbs. Kyle Blanks will be hitting behind Adrian Gonzalez this season and figures to get plenty of RBI chances. As a rookie last year, Blanks bashed 1 HR/14.8 at-bats, with very little lineup protection, to boot. If Blanks gets 500+ at-bats under his belt in 2010, he could conceivably launch up to 30 homers with 80+ RBI, even while playing half his games at PetCo Park. PetCo Park in SD is the 2nd toughest NL park to launch a "Dinger" but Blanks is worth the gamble in the late rounds.

Bust: Carlos Lee (Hou) Will be 34 years old this June. His HR total has gone down every season since hitting a career-high 37 in 2006. He's no longer a Lock for 30+ HR and 100+ RBI. Carlos swiped 19 Stolen bases in 2006, 10 SB's in 2007, and just 9 steals over the last two seasons. His numbers are heading south. Still a solid player but don't take him too soon!
