Monday Morning Coffee
College Hoops continue to roll along and are hitting 70% ATS over the past 38 5* MONSTER releases (26-11-1ATS). I am 3-0 ATS with 10* NCAA Conference Games of the Year and coming off a pair of 5* Monster play winners with Villanova, who was screwed by a poor official call with 0.1 seconds on the clock and Texas, who was a 4.5 dog that defeated Kansas SU. NBA has been firing on all cylinders too hitting 70% over the past 7 days. During this 7 day period I have won THREE 7* Monster plays and for the season I have had 30 NBA dogs win in SU fashion as well as ATS. My NHL plays continue to dominate and I have now won both of my 7* Monster releases (a side and a total). On 1/15 I had released the 7* total play OVER St. Louis/Nashville and it won easily with Nashville scoring 6 goals and exceeding the 5.5 goal posted total on their own merit. NHL plays have made 5094 units including member 3* plays which essentially translates into profits of 18K. 82% of these plays have been 3* Live Major Dogs. Notre Dame at UCONN

There are several huge games on Wednesday night featuring number 18 Notre Dame visiting number 17 UCONN. This Big east game will go along way to determining the Big East regular season winner and the all important seedings in the Big East Tournament. Notre Dame is 8-2 in Big east play with the two losses occurring on the road at Georgetown and at Marquette. After this game Notre Dame has just one remaining game against ranked opponent and that is Pittsburgh on February 21st. UCONN has a 7-3 Big East mark with losses at Notre Dame, at Georgetown, and home versus Providence. They do have an impressive win over number 8 Indiana. After this game against Notre Dame, UCONN has no scheduled games against ranked teams. In sum, clear path for both teams to make the Big Dance with Notre Dame having a slight advantage over UCONN having defeated them once this season.
Based on my work, I think you will see UCONN open up as a 4 point favorite, but the same matchups that led Notre Dame to their home victory against UCONN are prevalent for this game too. I do not believe that revenge is a significant factor and if anything UCONN knows that may not be as good a team as Notre Dame. UCONN lost that game by just 6 points, but that is hardly a reflection of the first half domination by Notre Dame. ND scored 47 points and led by 15 points in the first half of that game and I would not be surprised at all to see more of the same in this game. ND Guard McAlarney shredded the UCONN defense for 32 points. He ranks 2nd on the team in scoring with 15.2 PPG while Harangody is the lead scorer with 20.3 PPG. The huge matchup advantage that ND enjoys with both of these players first starts with the guard play of Tory Jackson. Tory had 11 assists in the first game against UCONN and I truly see no reason not to expect a similar game Wednesday night.
