Here's some thoughts and Notes from this past weekend's NCAAB Feb 7-8. Syracuse Have lost on the road and lost 4 out of their last 5 s/u and ats. Villanova Can play at whatever pace opponent wants to play at, fast (Marquette Tuesday) or 60-61 loss to Louisville. Georgetown Since Jan 3 1-9-1 ATS. Seton Hall Plays organized streetball, plays dumb! Rutgers Has young talented players and more talented recruits coming next year, could be a Big East force in a couple of Years. U Conn I don't believe they took Non Conference game against Michigan too serious. Has depth and very good Guards Purdue Cluster of injuries Illinois 11 consecutive s/u wins at home, Under 5-1 last 6 Big 10 Home Games. Wisconsin This is the same system Bo Ryan has ran in years past, however they don't have talented players that can score on offense like Tucker and Flowers this year. Notre Dame Never showed up at UCLA Saturday ! Mike Brey could be on his way out? UCLA Isn't as good as they played vs a flat, slow Notre Dame team, everything UCLA put up, went in first half. Southern Illinois Key player Senior Guard Mullins out for the rest of the season, has young talent, but their Freshman. UNLV @ New Mexico, UNLV should of won S/U, but covered. Rene Rogeau gets a Techinal foul and Fouls out on the same play, which becomes a 4 point turn around, UNLV loses in OT. Creighton Is playing some of their best ball now, Inside/ Out game, depth, well coached.
