Rocketman’s College Football Top 25 It’s been a crazy season so far in College Football and it could get even crazier starting this weekend. I wanted to publish my own College Football Top 25 from my own unique power ratings for all to see. We will have some surprises with this. 1. Oklahoma 96.55 2. Ohio State 96.25 3. LSU 93.47 4. West Virginia 91.24 5. Oregon 89.36 6. California 89.22 7. Florida 89.05 8. Southern Cal 88.97 9. Boise State 88.32 10. Arizona State 87.42 11. Boston College 86.31 12. Cincinnati 85.2 13. Texas Tech 85.1 14. Auburn 84.98 15. Missouri 84.53 16. Kansas 84.03 17. Penn State 83.95 18. South Carolina 83.2 19. Tennessee 82.78 20. Colorado 82.64 21. Arkansas 82.49 22. Virginia Tech 82.44 23. Texas 82.01 24. Wisconsin 81.53 25. Georgia Tech 81.2 Looks like the ACC Conference is weak this year. Normal powerhouses Miami Florida and Florida State are way down the list. Boston College is the best so far in that conference. They should crush Notre Dame this weekend. Big 10 Conference seems to be weak as well with only Ohio State and Penn State making the Top 20 and Wisconsin sitting back in 24th. Despite 1 loss my unique rating system as Oklahoma sitting at the top of the standings and Big 12 solid in the early going this year with 6 teams in my Top 25. PAC 10 has four teams in my Top 25 with the highest ranked team being Oregon way up at #5. Many will say how can I have Oregon ranked above California but I honestly feel they are the better team. California will not stay at the Top of the rankings as they will get beaten at least twice this year. SEC is pretty solid with six teams in my Top 25 and a couple of other teams right on the edge of being Top 25 ranked that being Alabama, Georgia and Kentucky. I look for this conference to make some noise come Bowl time.
